Gattaca is an awe-inspiring movie. though a 1997 production, it gave a true depiction of the world's mindless pursuit for perfection. the age of genetic modification and successful configuration of a perfect human being were the main themes running through the entire movie. based in a sci-fic setting, it also revolved around the 'impossible'---how one can be so determined as to push through his own limits to make himself a 'valid' of society. such may be physical constraints or limitations that were already predestined in advance of our lifetime. whether we choose to make a breakthrough and put our limits to the test will be a feat of sheer will and determination.
