after raving about chocolate cakes for one entire night, i decided to do this post on all the recommendations i've received from friends about chocolate cakes.

My recommendations:

1) Sweet secrets chocolate banana cake (love the chocolate mousse) - i went to their website n found that they dun sell it anymore!!! :( guess i'll have to settle for the chocolate banana version from awfully chocolate.

2) Wine company's warm lava cake

3) Awfully chocolate cake (i find it not sweet enough for me)
4) Four leaves' Coco exotic cake (we used to order it in sec sch n jc for birthdays. it has a crispy wafer crust underneath)


Marie's recommendations
1) Starbucks warm chocolate cake

2) Dessert platter from Graze

3) Miss Clarity Cafe's warm chocolate cake with ice cream

i think i've been talking/ msn-ing/ email-ing/ sms-ing too much because i have nothing new or interesting to blog about. sorry. hee

so i decided to venture into corbis to pull out some interesting pictures. still a huge art fan.

i love her soft blonde hair and how the whole photo has a really soft touch to complement the little girl.

What i would love to do in my free time: ROT and watch the clouds.

Interesting house.

so my mum hasn't been using her msn for a few months. she wants to send a msn message to my uncle. i had to help her figure out her sign in ID. after that was done, she came back to me and said, "i typed my message already, how do i send it out?"

i went to the computer, saw the message she had typed in the message box and gave her the solution. "press enter"

i just found out that my mum had brushed honey onto the roast chicken i ate for lunch, using a mini keyboard duster. she claims that it's clean.

my prof trying to pep talk the class:

"in these hard times, you have to adjust your expectations. don't expect to get into top law firms. even i had to go knock on law firms doors to try to impress them. "

"Times are bad. maybe only half of you can get pupillages. you have to go and knock on doors to get internships. *walks to an imaginary door with his back hunched*

"do not be stressed. the incidents last week (referring to suicides at ntu) are just a tip of the ice bergs. we heard of students in law school who cut themselves. even doctors commit suicide. you're the creme of the crop. "(the rest are censored)

my blog has turned into a weekly one. not much updates. yes my life is boring. but i should tell you about my trimmed fringe. my mum n i cut it - she cut the length n i layered it. this is how i look now.
ooh the shirt i'm wearing is a night tee from my aunt when i was 8 years old. so this shirt is about 14 years old n i can still fit into it. well it has turned from a night tee that covers my knees to a tee that is a few inches above my knees. yes, i didn't grow that tall. tragedy of my life, but to other's advantage.

i'm also watching out for jasmine murray n alexis grace.

after working non-stop for two weeks, i finally decided to give myself a little break.

friday night was cg in church followed by a midnight movie "he's not that into you"

saturday was spent sleeping, watching "sisterhood of the travelling pants" movie and then dinner with elise, yihan and huiling.
