thanks to tiffany who understood what singaporeans will NOT want to eat in vancouver ie: asian food, i had my best meal in vancouver ever. we went to boston pizza in richmond and shared yam fries (sweet potato fries), a boston original pizza which had sour cream and guacamole cream spread on top and beef sandwich dippers.

the yam fries are superb. oh i LOVE them and i can't believe this might possibly be the first and last time that i'm eating them in my LIFETIME. i do have a recipe for it which i got from safeway supermarket. heehee, i shall attempt to make it and if i succeed, i'll treat u (whoever u are) to it.

it's 3 more days before i go home!!! oh my goshhhhhh this exchange has felt like a dream. it zoomed past before my eyes. i've been through 13 weeks of classes AND exams, traveled to the rockies, seattle and whistler, seen sights and sounds in vancouver, lost a wisdom tooth, wallet and money, been to a great church, experienced snow, seen pretty snowflakes, met wonderful people, and gained a lifetime friend called Denise! i've also realized how much my Lord, my bf, my friends (u know who u are!) and my family means to me :)

it's snowing here!! snowflakes are soo pretty :) i've always loved snowflakes but seeing it in person is an entirely different experience. there's a variety of shapes here too. now i know that the designers who use snowflake shapes were not making it up. its completely from nature!

i also realized something during my church service today. 2nd last church service :(

a very quick post. my 2nd exam is today, i have another one tmr. other than superman, i've been watching the teen drama 90210 and britain's got talent to spice up the boring exam period.

bad news, people. i think my laptop is another inch closer to its death. its been running slow and doing all sort of weird stuff. good decision not to get a new cover for it!

on life, i've been quite relaxed. i was up in whistler over the weekend to meet snow. i went ziplining and enjoyed being in a quaint snow mountain village. the museum was really cool as well with hands-on activities like weaving my own cedar tree bark bracelet.

yesterday sauder business school had a farewell dinner for exchange students. i expected good food. but it was 1 piece of sushi + 2 pieces of pizza. hmmmm maybe cuz exchange students dun pay ubc school fees :(

gage, my residence, also had a christmas event last night. we decorated cookies, made christmas cards, watched home alone, sipped hot chocolate and took cute photos by the fake fireplace with santa claus, his elf and reindeer. unfortunately i didn't win myself a pair of antelopes in the lucky draw. i always don't have such luck.
