its tormenting to see shirlene's photos on facebook of her happy shopping n roaming in london, but yet be stuck in my library seat with a stack of crim notes waiting to be read. (my exams are on 29th apr, 5th n 8th may)

on a more happy note, she sent me a cute little card from canada. belated bday card...so sweet. at this rate, i might say yes to us getting married when u're back :P

im blogging incessantly these days. i read a few days ago in the Life section of straits times that some of the really famous bloggers like mr miyaki blogs in the toilet, and some of them blog up to 100+ posts a day. insane.

anyway just wanted to share the pictures taken today. as u can see, dorea was fully tucked in formal attire cuz her moot was today. n me, in my comfort mango shirt. due to lack of shirt, i decided to wear that shirt cuz its so comfortable. :)

okie this is part 4.

i didn't expect judea (church cg) to celebrate my bday. "unfortunately", it came out that it was my bday last tues, so on fri nite after cg, we went cafe cartel at serangoon gardens. we had finger food going around n drinks. n singyee was so sweet. she bought me a raspberry cheesecake from coffee bean as a surprise and they too sang the bday song VERY loudly. (becuz i told them i hate the whole birthday song-cake ritual. ARGH) i must become a more angsty n tough-going person. everytime i say i HATE the ritual, everyone would FIGHT to perform it just to spite me, in the name of fun and embarrassment. but i appreciate the kindness, goodness and loveliness of all my wonderful and beautiful (suave, for guys) friends, despite their attempts to embarrass me as much as they can. :P

i met enzie on sat. dats round 6 of bday celebration, n the final round. i've had so much cakes and brownies dat i actually ran a long way today to get the calories out. okie back to sat. met en n we went cedele, in an attempt to eat sth healthy cuz i was complaining abt the weight i've been gaining over the past week. n after dat, we just sat around at coffee bean to talk. i think im addicted to coffee these days. dorea, its ur fault. u got me started on it! :(

i have to show my girls this pair of designer shoes by christian louboutin. i obviously do not web-surf for designer shoes. saw it on oprah show while having dinner. im completely in love with it. sadly, i think its sold out at all its online stores, maybe even the world. i bet all the bfs and the men bought this pair of shoes for their gfs or wives or mistresses, becuz it'd definitely make their woman/ women happy for one CENTURY! (sorry, couldn't find a close up pic. it definitely looks better up close :)

this is like birthday entry part 3...cuz it was celebrated over 3 days.

on wed, after cg, i met the gangtic butter prawns (note: they arent edible) cuz they want to celebrate my birthday. as all you blog readers have read earlier on, i dun really fancy hoo-haa kind of birthdays, so it was named the "its-not-huimin's-birthday-dinner".

n fifi, being fifi, insisted dat they do the birthday cake and song ritual, thus explains photo no.2 thanks prawns, i really appreciate all of you coming down! esp since there are usually pple missing. ooooh, lester, u're greatly missed. haha.

a funny thing abt the cake ritual. they started singing bday song like quite loudly, obviously to make me feel embarrassed AGAIN (after the fish n co one) n they set the brownie down on the table. becuz we were sitting on a couch n the brownie was some distance away, dorea who was beside me boasted dat she can blow the candle without leaning forward. so i dared her to, and she did! bravo...hahaha. fifi n gilbert n dan were so disappointed dat she did that, cuz they cant make me feel MORE embarrassed by insisting that i blow the candle out. yay, dorea u rock!

another interesting thing is that the card was written by 7 people and they actually permutated ways of writing my name. i counted 5 different ways of my name on that card. prawns are really creative! though i bet they didn't realize it. :P

n then huiling came in the middle to pass me a present. thanks old pal! :) ur skill of predicting wat i like is improving!

note to en: do not execute the "how-to-spoil-your-best-friend's-21st-birthday" plan! if u need advice, go to huiling. hahahah.

nothing much abt my birthday. well i had class from 9-12, 3-6. lunch was spent at the canteen (where else, rite?) and then the library (where else but my fave place in the school??!) my close frens will get the joke. so if u dun get it, try n be 'closer' to me ok?

then my dad brought me to have crab been hoon n don pie at china square. ooh, the food there rocks.

n then huijie called from london..haha. thanks for calling, babe :)
oh n my buddy called too, after lunch. buddy...we'll get married if we dun erhmm. we can have our own wedding. even though spore govt wont recognize, its ok. we shall self-acknowledge our wedding.

n i just opened candy chen's card. its the most hilarious e-card ever. i hope she doesn't mind me posting here...haha. i will censor some parts.

A BIG THANKS to dorea, cheryl anne, sean, yanzhen, kaishi, junxiang, nat (& cass) who celebrated an early birthday with me today! love you guys, and it couldn't have been better.

(here is where i elaborate more)

lunch was at fish&co. as usual, we headed off to town from school in style. ie. cab. haha...cuz ca says it would be too hot. so lunch was normal, until the waitresses crowded behind me and requested me to stand on this chair AT THE ENTRANCE of fish n co. bewildered, i had to comply. n so when i climbed into the metal chair, they passed me this sparkler. then this really gungho waitress shouted sth like, "here in the house is a birthday girl..." and they did this really loud n energetic cheer. i dun really rmb the words but they were really full of enthusiasm n energy. haha...n then they sang me a really high birthday song too. thanks ca n dorea for dat surprise. (i think u guys were surprised too hahahaha) so after our lunch treat...which included fish n chips, a cup of ice cream n a hot brownie with ice cream dat totally rocked, we went to watch 'becoming jane' with sean n yanzhen.

(here's the part i fast forward to dinner)
dinner was at ps swensens with kap pact n nat. cass had graduation dinner, so she couldn't come. i feel so fat after today. i made them eat my white chocolate blondie with me becuz dats sth i MUST eat when im at swensens. haha. as ks put it, that's the whole point of going swensens. and they gave me this really cute photo framed with our photo montage and josh groban's 1st cd. woohoo!! THANKEW!!

although i hate the hoo-haa kind of birthdays, i think it was great just to chill with frens and be with pple who love u. so thank u all. :) love u guys...n girls.

this entry is long overdue, cuz i've been so busy.

anyway, YES!!!! I'VE OFFICIALLY FINISHED LAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!
my moot ended on mon at 12noon. it was a bit traumatizing, but i think i did ok. not fantastic, not horribly, but i survived through a serious round of firing. at one point in my moot, the judges were shooting qns one after another and i didn't get a chance to react. so after they were done "relieving" themselves, i had to like put things in order: "your honours, i will first address her honour's question and then his honour's question". gosh...by the time i finished her honour's qn, i couldn't even rmb his honour's qn, luckily he jumped in to continue his qn.

so after moot ended, i went for contract lecture. im sorry, but i really think dat contract lectures are important for its concise summaries of cases. fitzpatrick has established a connection with me when he said "im addicted to american idol" towards the end of his lecture. haha...

so 1pm: lunch with melanie.
3pm: reached home n watched a hallmark movie.
5pm: nap.
6.20pm: decided i shall be a good student n read a bit of crim
7.30pm: went brewerkz with my lawr class n ww. food was quite good, but i didnt drink. for some reason, i wasnt in the mood to drink. maybe cuz i knew dat tues would be worst than how it already is...
12 midnite: got home, bath n SLEPT

i know this entry is sounding boring..so i'll move speedily along. so come tues was classes whole day and then the g cube debate.

today i spent my whole day sleeping. really too tired after getting home at 12 midnite the past 2 nights...

since lawr is over, i only have classes on tues 9-6 and fri 9-12. and also a contract tut next wed 9-11. so glad dat this sem is gonna be over soon.

im deliberating whether i should book air tickets this week..sigh.
