birthday prank on no.2
Today is Lord Zhixuan's birthday and his gang decided to pull a prank off him.
Remember the weekend take-home exam we had that ended on Monday? they capitalized on it to the max. mich neo's dad is a prof. she got her dad's secretary to call zhixuan's hp using the school phone (nus numbers start with 6516....) to tell him that there is something wrong with his clt exam script and he has to go to the dean's office.
oh my oh my. seeing the 6516 number is scary enough. telling no.2 of our law cohort that his exam script is problematic is beyond scary. it can cause heart palpitations.
upon receiving the call, lord zhixuan ran all the way from the library to the dean's office. FLEW to be more exact.
when he got there, he saw one of the guys through the glass window n guessed it. sigh we should have hidden ourselves better. he looked sooooo relieved to see us and know that it was just a prank. oh well, no.2 is a title thats hard-earned. i will NEVER understand how it feels to be in his shoes receiving that call.
that was a good but horrifying birthday prank. :P heehee

Why You Should Never Try to Steal a Law Student's Laptop

Botsios was willing to let Saucedo take his wallet and guitars. Then the robber made the mistake that ultimately landed him in the hospital -- he went for the laptop. According to Botsios, he said "Dude, no -- please, no! I have all my case notes...that's four months of work!" Saucedo, obviously underestimating the fury of an overstressed, overworked first-year, was unsympathetic. That's when Botsios could take no more.
Wrestling Saucdeo to the floor, Botsios separated the bat from the thief and repeatedly punched him in the face. When it was all over, police had to get Saucedo stitched up before charging him with armed robbery and kidnapping, while Botsios only suffered some scrapes and a bruised knuckle. Most importantly, at least to the student, is that his laptop, which he called "his baby," escaped unharmed. Next time, Saucedo might want to try robbing a third-year student, as they're generally more docile. [From:

Who goes to Orchard Road in the middle of an exam?
I do!Goodbye CLT!~ Good riddance. 2 more exams to go for this semester. My pile of CLT material below...i estimated it to come up around 2000+ pages.
i was in Orchard after church to drop off my hp for repair. Somehow, the Christmas decorations are out and I took the chance to snap some photos to show Bea. :)
what a cute Christmas tree! i think the theme this year is gingerbread house or something like that...
while i was crossing the road, 2 red ferrari's vroomed past...i think they were quite amused with me taking a photo of them...
i feel good today cuz i finished CLT exam early hee

This was last Saturday. 8 Nov at Karma Kettle. We were there to celebrate my favourite prawn, fi's bday. (dorea u're categorized as best law fren...lol)

this has been a rather odd year for us girls.
pan was away in belgium most of the time, save for a few weeks in july. n then elise came back in july too. n then en's surprise trip back in aug due to food poisoning.
so the day in aug when en surprised us with "i'm back" was memorable cuz it was the first time we were all back in singapore again.
then there was the birthday weekend in october and we all met at elise's except for pan who had gone back to belgium
now en is back for another 2 months before she goes to california. we're all waiting for pan who will be the last of the pack to get back.
i know this is sounding all too confusing. hahha
i'm damn bored from clt. save meeeeeeeeeeee

last week and this week has been just ODD.
i had extreme mood swings. elise would know.
yeah, pms. but still! i'm usually not like that.
my heart cannot take such trauma. its like taking the scary rides in ocean park. totally horrible. i just feel TIRED. and i just want to sleep!
well now, pms is over. so i'm back on track. CLT is the way to go!
nothing much to blog about since my life surrounds mugging for exam next week.

A thief learned the mistake of trying to steal a law student's laptop last week after after becoming a punching bag for an Arizona State student he tried to rip off. Armed with a baseball bat, the intruder, Gabriel Saucedo, allegedly climbed through an open window into Alex Botsios' apartment, waking the student and threatening to smash his head in.
