okie, im kinda tipsy right now, but still sober and totally aware of my actions.

reason being, i had half a bottle of wine. red shiraz..some woodcutter shiraz. quite good. full flavoured, the way i like it.

wat i did today:
went into the office, finished research on custody case and then started researching on "sentencing of corporate crimes". couldnt find anything! got back to JS, and got work thrown back to me. was told to give more relevant and detailed info on the custody case and to look at mitigating factors in criminal sentencing of both personal offenders and corporate cases.

lunch: cultural experience! went to the sikh temple with vimaljit, sarah and biying. i realized that the sikh faith is more of an idea than a religion. it started because the gurus wanted to defend the other religions e.g. buddhism, christianity in India. so they are open to all people and anyone can enter into the religion. kind of interesting. we had lunch at the temple. unyeasted bread like prata and bean curry. they also had a sweet, white bean dessert.

after lunch: researched on lawnet on the various mitigation factors in criminal law and went to the research to do somemore. then waited for JS to bring me to dinner. when i went down, i went to talk to mei-yen about studying law in uk. she was very helpful! i'm more certain about doing law these days...haiz....

i think JS was kinda nice. he told me that he found me different from the other interns cuz i could take his shit and his mean, domineering and demanding demeanour and i could tolerate him. i really thank him for honouring my views and opinions, for taking me seriously and letting me work with him. im glad i made him feel that i was helpful and "fulfilling", the way he had said it. and for treating me to dinner and that bottle of wine which is making me feel kinda tipsy rite now.

gotta go make cards for phyllis and JS down.
