updates
okie i know i haven been here for a long time. but rest assured, i'm still very much alive! had a really hectic week the last couple of days. i remember working for jesline on wed (intensive filing!!) and going shopping with elise and pan after dat (achievement: i didnt buy anything). gave piano lessons (make-up lessons & rose) on thurs and rushed finishing the church website and bulletin on fri. taught piano on sat and had worship practice in the evening. sunday was church and a long afternoon nap for my exhausted body.
the only exciting thing worth mentioning was the sleepover at elisee's house on friday night after i finished rushing everything. im sorry i was so late. was supposed to meet them at 6 or 7. in the end, i only turned up at 10 cuz there were really too much things to be done. plus i forgot dat i was to do bulletin while daniel's away. so the work got piled up and yes, i shouldnt have been late.
getting past that, when i got to elise's house, the girls (all 6 of them: elise, candy, enzie, pan, suzy, steph) were putting on make up. okie steph wasnt. i didnt see the point of putting make-up when we were just going for drinks. so i just rolled around in bed while they got ready. our initial intention was to go clubbing cuz elise really wanted to go. but dat silly girl couldnt get permission.
so in the end, we all trampled out of her house almost close to the stroke of midnight and went wala-wala at holland v. the real comic part comes when elise announced that she told her mum we would be back in an hour's time. ie, at 12 plus. so we couldnt be gone for long. anyway, the live band (the unexpected) at wala-wala was quite good. technically, they were glitch-less. but the songs in their 3rd set wont dat great. so we only had one round of drinks which is kind of weird, cuz usually we go 2 rounds.
at close to 2am, we went in search for food for my hungry stomach. nydc, swensen's and crystal jade were still open. at 2am!! imagine my shock. i had a chicken pie at nydc. it was satisfying. then we walked back to elise's house. washed up, talked till close to 5am and went to sleep. then at 8am, i had to get up to go teach piano. and u know wat? my 9am student didnt come cuz she forgot it was saturday. i had to get up so early for her la!!!!!
dats the highlight of the week. say goodbye to me and wish me great fun at nus bizad orientation camp (mon till thurs). will update again when im back.
