my boss likes to call me at 9am in the morning. this is how it usually goes...
"hi huimin, i hope u're awake"
"yeah i'm awake."
"i thought u might be sleeping."
"no la. i'm awake already."
boos. i really dun wake up dat early. but when the phone rings, i will pick it up. actually its okie cuz i love my boss. she's such a nice lady. very sincere and kind-hearted. but i think she gives too much discounts to the students. (deprive me of money) haha.
i think i'm too soft with my piano students. they can literally climb over my head and still roll off safely. i dunno how to be fierce! i think i'm afraid they will hate me and then not come anymore. grrrrrr. my colleague at the music school suggested dat we attend "child control" classes. she has problems with her kids too. kids nowadays, all spoiled brats! its okie if they're smart but spoiled. at least i get some stuff done. if they're slow to learn and troublesome to handle, good luck to me. the only thing i can do is to make them sit outside to do theory work.
here is where i get egoistic. i think im such a good kid dat i dun understand wat the brats are scared of. i especially hate the rude kids. plz give me some ideas on how to handle those chipmunks.
i have this new G.shirmer book to sight-read. its so tough i feel like im drinking listerine down my throat every time i try to play it.
2 weeks more till school starts. here is a list of pple i would like to meet before i get busy:
1. cai huijie and candy chen chen, before they fly off, far far away!!
2. sarahhhh...before u go off to good old oxford!
3. my cousins: ying, huili. ktv or anything. dun say i always pangseh!
4. ny aep and hc aep cuz i missed our last gathering.
5. old shepherd group: ks, jx, nat, cass, jo, yaohong.
6. enzie, elise, pan (hl prob wont come) for a round of drinks. pub, not club.
7. m4!! the muggers must meet to motivate each other before we embark on our next mugging period.
8. time for guides to meet. roll-call.
