birthday part 3
this is like birthday entry part 3...cuz it was celebrated over 3 days.
on wed, after cg, i met the gangtic butter prawns (note: they arent edible) cuz they want to celebrate my birthday. as all you blog readers have read earlier on, i dun really fancy hoo-haa kind of birthdays, so it was named the "its-not-huimin's-birthday-dinner".
n fifi, being fifi, insisted dat they do the birthday cake and song ritual, thus explains photo no.2 thanks prawns, i really appreciate all of you coming down! esp since there are usually pple missing. ooooh, lester, u're greatly missed. haha.
a funny thing abt the cake ritual. they started singing bday song like quite loudly, obviously to make me feel embarrassed AGAIN (after the fish n co one) n they set the brownie down on the table. becuz we were sitting on a couch n the brownie was some distance away, dorea who was beside me boasted dat she can blow the candle without leaning forward. so i dared her to, and she did! bravo...hahaha. fifi n gilbert n dan were so disappointed dat she did that, cuz they cant make me feel MORE embarrassed by insisting that i blow the candle out. yay, dorea u rock!
another interesting thing is that the card was written by 7 people and they actually permutated ways of writing my name. i counted 5 different ways of my name on that card. prawns are really creative! though i bet they didn't realize it. :P
n then huiling came in the middle to pass me a present. thanks old pal! :) ur skill of predicting wat i like is improving!
note to en: do not execute the "how-to-spoil-your-best-friend's-21st-birthday" plan! if u need advice, go to huiling. hahahah.
