american idol season 7 results
its american idol final results day. the show started at 8am.
9.56am (in the office), i was frantically pressing the 'refresh' button on youtube, checking to see if anyone has uploaded the results vid.
10.00am No sign of vids. SMS comes in. its elise sending me an sms from US.
*excitement*
sms says: david won ami!
*faints* of cuz david won, but which one??!?! *feels like strangling elise*
10.01am sends reply to elise: which one!!
10.03am elise replies: Lol i know. I purposely said that in case you didn't want me to spoil it for you. It's cook.
*disappointment sets in* *weeps for archuleta* *rants to marie*
10.07am elise replies: Lol won by 12million votes. Going to pick Lee up now.
*sad!!!!!!!!!*
if u had watched the performances last nite, you'd have known dat david cook was just average, his usual self, didn't do anything that showed he's going for gold. but archuleta was fabulous. simon cowell told archie after his 3rd performance that he had just witnessed archie put up a knockout fight.
sighs. so wanted archuleta to win so that we can all fulfill a young boy's dream. but oh well, he's going to go on and do more great things. i dun hate cook. i actually like him too, he's my daughtry-kinda guy. i'd buy his album, that i know for sure. i'd buy both albums la. haha.
this season has been exciting. i actually watched right from the start. i only noticed cook from top 12 onwards. i remember archuleta from his hollywood round when he sang "Heaven". i thought it was really good. and his rendition of john lennon's "imagine" at top 20 round was memorable. sigh. i hope the poor boy isnt weeping his eyes out. he definitely deserves to win!
