taylor swift
i'm a big fan of country music. since the days I sat in my new zealand host mum's car listening to elton john with cute sam and lucy. miss them so much!

as we all know, i have a fetish for tutu skirts. its true that they made you look like a baby ballerina, so when
cupcakes&cashmere found this more adult looking tutu skirt, i thought i needed to show the world!! btw the autumn background...i dreamt about being in vancouver last night, in winter. i woke up feeling nostalgic and sad.

a crabby shirt
my cousinying is so sweet!! she bought me a h&m crabby tshirt while in europe. always nice to get something from my favourite store in the world, the one named after me :P its made of organic cotton and its so soft i think i might start paying more for organic cotton shirts!
anyway this is a followup to the similar pictures that we have. i blogged about it in 2008 (here's the
link!), somehow her picture doesnt show anymore.

tea cups lighting!
Imagine walking into a living room and seeing these lights hanging over the dining room table, i'd just LAUGH OUT LOUD every single day walking into my own dining room! heehee
it also reminded me of one of my ideas for my A level art project of creating lighting which were works of art. it was too ambitious and required industrial material for production, so the idea got turned into jewelry design instead. from lights to jewelry, smelly lim said that works of art lighting when scaled down, are like jewelry.

My food venture of the day - Maple honey wings
I have not much to do at home. Usually I swim and read, sometimes play the piano. I'm up to some baking and cooking lately. Baked a banana bread that was a little too salty on Sat. Today I decided to make Maple honey wings.
Recipe is from this wonderful
food blogI didn't have BBQ sauce, so I substituted it with chicken marinade and maple syrup. The outcome was juicy, sweet and tangy wings :)

I just got back from a family trip to Cameron Highlands. SO HAPPY to go on a trip and not have to study!! We expected the weather to be cool, but no, El Nino has set itself nicely on the highlands. Sigh anyway some pretty sights for you!
